This is a Canadian jig that I’ve mostly heard played G, but can also played in F (thanks to my friend Guy Paul Larocque for playing it in F for me – it’s really nice there!). The second part really soars and makes this a standout fun tune to play.
Here’s a nice version played by Emily Yarascavitch and Kyle Burghout.
I’ve posted both G & F versions on my “Dots” page. Just navigate to the “Jigs & 6/8’ers”.
This little playlist will get you started.
